Transitioning To A New Era
An extract from the Divine Reset and Beyond
Nearly every prophetic voice I know โ across the UK, Europe, Africa, the USA, and Australasia โ is saying the same thing: we are entering a new era.
Many of them were prophesying this before 2020, but the quiet murmurs have since turned into trumpet blasts.
It can no longer be ignored:
We are entering a new era of Godโs purposes on the earth.
And yes โ itโs turbulent.
The Turbulence of Transition
Take courage: era changes are almost always tumultuous.
A quick search for synonyms of transition gives you words like: change, move, passage, transformation, conversion, adaptation, adjustment, alteration, changeover, metamorphosis, shift, switch, jump.
Thatโs whatโs happening.
Weโre being changed from one era to another.
Shifted from one set of circumstances to another.
Transformed from one frame to a new one.
Converted. Adjusted. Altered. Ouch!
No wonder many of us feel disoriented, uncomfortable, or even lost.
Prophetic minister Nate Johnston writes of this very season:
โEverywhere I look I still see people in the middle of their own transition, walking around discouraged and feeling abandoned by God. They followed His leading but feel shipwrecked; they have moved at the sound of His voice but now it feels like He is silent.โ
He goes on:
โMany times the wilderness is the very place God uses to incubate and nurture the greatest dreams of our lives. It may look like the complete oppositeโit may be as far removed from what you imaginedโbut it is the environment that is used to MULTIPLY you and prepare you for launch.โ
Transition is hard.
As my friend Craig Cooney puts it:
โPeople say when God closes one door, He opens another โ but they donโt talk about the hallway in the middle, where youโre sometimes left waiting for the new door to open!โ
Many are in that hallway โ having left the old, but not yet arrived in the new.
Don’t lose heart – be patient! God is taking us somewhere!

Today, I choose faith over fear, trust over doubt, and endurance over despairโbecause my God is faithful, and He will see me through. Even in the toughest times, my trust remains in the Lord. โThough I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with meโ (Psalm 23:4).
I will not be shaken by trials, for โGod is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in troubleโ (Psalm 46:1). When I am weak, His strength is made perfect in me (2 Corinthians 12:9). I declare that my hope is anchored in Christ. โThose who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures foreverโ (Psalm 125:1).
Though the storm rages, I will stand firm, for โall things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purposeโ (Romans 8:28).
