Destiny is Sometimes Disorientation!
An extract from the Divine Reset and Beyond.
Many of us are feeling the upheaval of change, the disorientation of revolution, and the deep, internal shaking that comes with new days.
Yet despite the chaos, weโre seeing early signs of breakthrough.
Clouds the size of a manโs hand.
Recent reports suggest that two million more people are now attending churches in the UK than in the pre-pandemic year of 2019. Thatโs remarkable.
New prayer movements and fresh models of church are springing up across the landscape.
But at the same time, some Christians โ even church leaders โ are more weary and disillusioned than ever. Some have walked away from church. Some from God entirely.
Itโs a turbulent sea out there.
In January 2025, Carey Nieuwhof reported that one-third of pastors are considering quitting. Back in 2015, 72% of church ministers said they were satisfied in ministry. Today? Barely half.
Even more sobering, since 2015:
- Spiritual well-being has dropped from 37% to 14%
- Physical health from 24% to 9%
- Mental and emotional health from 39% to 11%
- Overall life satisfaction from 42% to 18%
- Sense of community respect from 22% to 10%
- Level of true friendships has halved, from 34% to just 17% ย (2)
And now, a staggeringย 40% of pastorsย are at high risk of burnout โ nearly aย 400% increaseย since 2015.
So yes, the picture in the Straits of Transition is choppy.
Chaotic.
Complex.
How about you? Are you feeling it?
Maybe you’re in a good place โ family, church, health all thriving.
Or maybe youโre in the storm โ thrown about by the waves of transition, searching for your bearings.
Be encouraged.
Volatile seas are the territory of pioneers.
I hope this whole book pours some oil on the water for you. That it lifts your eyes to the horizon, fills your heart with courage, and gives you the strength to keep going.
Whether youโre thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between, The Divine Reset and Beyond is here to help prayerfully guide you โ with thought, scripture, prophecy, and practical wisdom โ through these straits and into the Atlantic of Godโs next purpose for you.
Brace for some challenging questions. Be stirred by prophetic insight. And take heart in the teaching that follows.
Hold tight.
God is with you.
Donโt quit.
Heโs leading us all through these turbulent waters toward new places, new adventures, better days โ and bigger plans.
After all, isnโt the end game โthe glory of the Lord filling the whole earthโ?
You will get there โ
if you donโt give up.

Today, I will not quit, I will not shrink back, but I will stand firm in faith, knowing โthe one who stands firm to the end will be savedโ (Matthew 24:13). I will not give up, for the Lord is my strength and sustainer. โLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give upโ (Galatians 6:9).
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Though I may stumble, I will rise again, for โthe righteous person may fall seven times, but they rise againโ (Proverbs 24:16). God is faithful to complete the good work He began in me (Philippians 1:6).
