The Divine Reset and Beyond

As I contemplated the traumatic and turbulent seasons we’ve lived through since 2020 — with its pandemics, wars, political divisions, and deep personal unrest — I sensed the Lord leading me back to a familiar geographical place from my childhood. There, He began to unveil some much-needed wisdom for the journey ahead.

That place?
The Rock of Gibraltar.

I grew up in Gibraltar — a dramatic, narrow gateway between Africa and Europe where the Mediterranean Sea collides with the vast Atlantic Ocean. It’s a location defined by convergence: swirling waters, heavy winds, and packed shipping lanes all come together in a bubbling, chaotic mix.

It’s called The Straits of Gibraltar, and it’s famously bumpy.

The wisdom God was showing me?
We are living through a similarly narrow, tumultuous place of transition.

As I pictured those straits — that narrow channel of agitated, colliding waters — I immediately understood what God was trying to say to me about the turbulence I was personally experiencing as a church leader.

God was saying…

“YOU ARE WHERE TWO ERAS MEET!”

And then He continued:

“You are where two eras meet, and just like the meeting place of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, it is tumultuous and wild. But take courage, there is a purpose in the shaking!

My people have been riding the kindly waves of the Mediterranean long enough. They’ve cried out for My glory to cover the earth (Habakkuk 2:14), for the kingdoms of this world to become the Kingdom of our God (Revelation 11:15), for billion-soul harvests and great revivals. They have asked to carry My glory!

And so I am leading you into the mighty Atlantic Ocean of My purposes — and right now, you are in the transition between the two.

You are leaving behind the gentle rolling seas of calm Christianity. Ahead lie the wild waves of divine occupation, revival, might, and glory — but also persecution and advancement that will require guts and resilience.

You are, right now, at the place where two eras meet. Like the sea meeting the ocean, this is a place of upheaval, change, high seas, and turbulent waters.

There is change. Revolution is in the air. Some feel lost, agitated, confused — but I will lead you through! My presence is still with you, and My voice will guide you.”
