Your Blessing Is Coming!

Your Blessing Is Coming!

Dr. Sandie Freed recently prophesiedโ€ฆ

“I Have Not Passed You By”

A few weeks ago, I heard the Lord say, “Tell my children I have not passed them by. Many believe they have missed my blessings. They have been praying and waiting for a breakthrough but are becoming discouraged. Tell them to remain patient. I have not forgotten about them.”

Dear ones, I know what it feels like to wait on God. Sometimes we are so weary in waiting on God that unbelief attempts to cloud our vision and hijack our faith. I have been one of those Christians who has had God remind me of many blessings coming my way, as I’ve prayed, fasted, and stood firm… only to have nothing happen. Sometimes it has felt like God has forgotten about me or passed me by! Many times I thought I had missed my blessing somehow.

There have also been days when I have gotten out of bed with high expectations for the dayโ€”believing for miracles and breakthroughsโ€”only to experience disappointment at the end of the day. I still loved God and knew he loved me, yet this lingering disappointment would remain that I could not shake.

What do you do when your heart is broken and all hope seems lost? How do you battle the dark whispers from the enemy who says, “God doesn’t care about your needs. You’re not good enough. You’ve messed up and God isn’t going to heal you. You don’t measure up. You don’t pray enough. God has turned his back on you because of your sin. You’re a loser.”?

A thousand fiery darts are hurled toward you, and soon you are convinced that God has passed you by!

Satan Is a Liar! Who Are You Choosing to Listen to Right Now?

Not so! God has NOT passed you by, and he has NOT forgotten about you! The bottom line is this: Who are you choosing to listen to right now? We must choose to listen only to God and ignore the whispers of the enemy. The devil is a liar, and he would love for us to turn our backs on God and falsely accuse him! To believe that God doesn’t care about our needs is to come into agreement with the accuser. When we agree with Satan’s lies, we give him more power. If you want a life of godly power, align yourself with God and his Word!

I know firsthand how the enemy loves to shake our faith. Satan will target us in attempts to shake us, derail us, and frustrate us to the point that we lose hope. When the enemy lies to us, what should our response be? What should our reply be? Our confession MUST be one that agrees with what God says! While waiting for our breakthroughs we should all be flooding the airways with positive confessions and declaring that God is our healer, provider, and deliverer. While waiting on our healing we should keep our minds fixed on the fact that God loves us and desires us healed!

At times it is difficult to rejoice with others when they get a breakthrough and you’re still waiting on yours. Yes, it is discouraging, and if you’re not careful, you will hear yourself say, “God has passed me by.” But saint, please hear me. God has NOT passed you by! God is going to reward your faithfulness, so keep standing!

Your Blessing Is Coming!

To fully live in victory we must not waver or allow the lies of the enemy to hijack our faith. When it seems as if your blessing is nowhere to be found, or if it seems God has passed you by, hold on! Stand strong!

Think about some of those patriarchs in the Bible who stood strong when adversity surrounded them. One of my favorite Bible characters is Elijah. Scripture tells us that he was a man just like us. This means he was human but also very powerful in God. He was tempted with fears and emotions, just as we are today. And yet, he went toe-to-toe with Ahab and Jezebel.

He stood strong against witchcraft, idolatry, and, yes, murder! Yet he boldly tore down the false altars of Baal and rebuilt the altar of God. He destroyed the false prophets in the land and prayed for rain that ended a long drought. In fact, he was the one who prophesied the drought! And God honored his decree! Wow!

When there was no rain cloud in sight, Elijah continued to pray and believe for rain. He could have gotten discouraged and believed that God had passed him by, but he didn’t waver! Elijah refused to give up. He kept praying and believing what God had said. The Lord told Elijah it would rain, and guess what? Elijah believed what God said!

Believer, don’t give up! Keep believing! Believe what God has said about you. Believe that you are blessed. Decree you are blessed. Confess daily you are blessed. Believe this today: I hear the sound of the abundance of rain! Say it again: “I HEAR THE SOUND OF THE ABUNDANCE OF RAIN.”

It’s your season for power, demonstration, and breakthrough. Don’t let what you see in the natural discourage you. Keep your eyes on Jesus! Elijah could see it in the spirit. As he confessed the abundance of rain, the cloud kept getting closer. He never gave up. For on his servant’s seventh trip to check for a cloud, he saw Elijah’s vision (1 Kings 18:41โ€“45).

I declare today that delay is not denial โ€”it is preparation for greater blessing. โ€œThough the vision tarries, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delayโ€ (Habakkuk 2:3). God is never late. His timing is perfect, and I trust Him even in the waiting.

What feels like delay is often divine development. God is building my character, increasing my capacity, and aligning everything for His perfect will. โ€œThose who wait on the Lord shall renew their strengthโ€ (Isaiah 40:31), and I receive that strength right now.

I reject discouragement and delay-driven doubt. I hold onto faith, knowing that โ€œno good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightlyโ€ (Psalm 84:11). What God promised, He is faithful to fulfill.
