Proclaim The Decree

“You are my Son; today I have become your Father.” — Psalm 2:7 (NIV84)

At one of the lowest points in life, I had a vision that changed everything. I stood on a mountain and saw God—mighty, vast, a warrior from the ancient days. As He lifted His arms, He bellowed over me, “YOU ARE MY SON!” The ground shook under His voice, but even more, my soul trembled—and began to heal.

In that moment, shame fell away. Fear shattered. Doubt lost its grip. The voice of my Father—strong, loving, proud—declared His love for me not because I had earned it, but simply because I was His.

“You are my Son!” He said, knowing every flaw, every failure, every fear. He wasn’t ashamed of me. He didn’t tolerate me—He chose me. He announced me as His. And what’s more, He reminded me that His Spirit lives in me. His strength runs through my spiritual veins.

When you hear that voice, you begin to realise: I am not as weak as I think I am. You may feel like a mess—but God sees a masterpiece in process. You may feel overlooked—but heaven knows your name.

You aren’t just legally adopted into God’s family; you’re born of God. A new creation, filled with His Spirit, carrying His DNA. And Scripture says, “Everyone born of God overcomes the world.” (1 John 5:4)

Let this be your declaration today: “You are my Father, and I am your child!” Speak it aloud. Let it silence shame and awaken strength. Let it shift your identity and anchor your peace.

He is not disappointed in you. He delights in you. You are His child. Born of God. Destined to overcome.

Proclaim the decree—and live like you belong.

Today, I declare the word of the Lord: I am a child of God. He has spoken over me, called me by name, and claimed me as His own. I do not question my identity—I walk confidently in the truth that I belong to Him.

The Father’s decree stands firm: I am His, and He is mine. I am not forgotten, rejected, or overlooked. I am adopted, accepted, and appointed for divine purpose. Just as the Father affirmed His Son, He now speaks over me with love, authority, and power. I walk in the fullness of that identity—as one who is chosen, cherished, and commissioned.
