New Paths, New Power!

Watch for New Paths & the Tailwind of His Spirit

I saw a vision of a vehicle merging onto a highway that was a different route than the occupants were familiar with. I knew that this highway would take them to places they had never been, connect them with new family members, and give them new experiences that would bring them great joy.

I heard the Lord say that now is the time when many will merge onto new paths which will take them to places they never dreamed possible, with people (new connections) who will link them to their prophetic destiny. I heard the Lord say, “This will cause your spiritual family to grow and your influence to expand.”

Watch for new paths to open up, new opportunities to be presented to you, and new relationships to be formed. Do not fear the unknown route before you, because it will take you into a broad place that will “extend your tent pegs.”

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.” (Isaiah 54:2 NIV)

From your point of view today, the new route ahead may look narrow, as if your journey is leading you into greater isolation or some place that is limiting. But as you move forward, you will see that it is a broad place—a place of miracles, expansion, and fruitfulness. Watch what God will do as you merge onto this new path, this new roadway.

I also saw that this highways was brand new—newly paved! It will be smooth to travel upon, and it will open up a new and a more direct route to the places and things that the Lord has for you.

Then I heard, “Call upon the wind of My Spirit to blow!”

His Spirit is sending you a tailwind to accelerate your journey forward. The headwind that has been thwarting you from forward movement is being removed by the Lord, and now His Spirit is releasing a tailwind to accelerate you to catch up and exceed the place where delay was created. Receive His tailwind! 

The wind of His Spirit is also going to blow in supernatural provision for what He has called you to do; it will be MORE than you need, and it will give you room to expand.

This spiritual wind will blow away obstacles so that your soul can breathe and rest as you go forward, without the constant hindrances that you’ve been experiencing. This wind will also create. It will create what is needed to benefit you and to give you all that you need as you go.

Angels are surrounding you and going ahead of you to prepare the way—to pave your road ahead.

“But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18–19 NLT)

Lastly, I heard the verse from Psalm 5:12 for those of you who are merging into a new place:

“For You bless the righteous, O Lord; You cover him with favor as with a shield” (ESV).

Favor will be a shield of protection, and His favor will be a sign to those who see you that “the Lord has sent you.”

It’s time to merge! Great joy awaits you on the new path.

For Those Who Are Before a Closed Door: It’s Not a Dead End!

I heard these words: “Tell those who followed My voice to what appears to be a dead end that it is NOT a dead end, but a closed door that will open before them in My perfect timing.”

I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying that there are many of you who feel like you went down a dead-end road with no room to turn around, and you feel stuck there, with no where to go. But get ready, because you are not at a dead end; rather, you are before a closed door that is about to swing wide open for you. The closed door has protected you from moving ahead outside of His timing.

This opening of the door is about divine timing and alignment so that your steps are established according to His perfect plans.

God is the one who orders times and seasons. Job 38:12 (NIV) says, “Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place?”

Just as God orders the beginning from the end, the sun and the stars, the water and the land, so He orders the times, seasons, and boundaries of your life.

This is the time to focus on the hope set before you, specifically the Author and Finisher of that hope. Celebrate His goodness, His love, and His faithfulness as you prepare to cross the threshold into what He has prepared for you.

You will see the God of “more than you can ask or imagine” align the pieces needed to bring forth the open door (Ephesians 3:20). Shake off discouragement and hopelessness—even frustration and anger—and align your heart once again with the promises of God for your future.

The Lord brought me to this verse for you in 2 Samuel: “And now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word that You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house, and do as You have spoken” (2 Samuel 7:25 ESV).

Be sure to ask the Lord if there is anything that He is wanting to prepare your heart with while you wait. Waiting is not wasted when you are actively waiting and allowing the Lord to prepare you for moving forward and crossing into the new land.

Realign your heart and mind with His Spirit that lives within you, and believe again! Reject every thought that has accused you of missing the mark or not hearing Him correctly. Remember, you are the one who makes your plans according to the best of your ability to hear Him, but it is GOD ALONE who then orders and establishes your steps into His plans and purposes for your life.

If you’ve committed your plans to the Lord and asked Him to order your steps, then that place of waiting will prove to be the place where the doorway of promise fulfilled will open up for you.

Do not back up or leave the place where His “word concerning you” has led you to. He will do what He has spoken! You are not at a dead end; you are standing before a door that will open in God’s perfect timing.
