How To Perform A Miracle!

How To Perform A Miracle!

โ€œNoah obeyed all that Yahweh had commanded him.โ€ โ€“ Genesis 7:5 (TPT)

Obedience is the key that unlocks the power of heaven on earth. It is often the missing link between Godโ€™s will being declared in heaven and His will being manifested here. Noahโ€™s obedience was costly and time-consuming. Building a massive ark when there was no rain, gathering animals, and preparing for a flood seemed foolish to the worldโ€”but it saved his family and preserved humanity.

The Bible is full of moments when obedience opened the door for the miraculous. At Jericho, Godโ€™s people were told to march silently for six days, then shout on the seventh. Shouts donโ€™t bring walls downโ€”unless God has spoken. At the Red Sea, Moses was told to lift his staff. A stick raised over water doesnโ€™t split seasโ€”unless God has spoken. Naaman, the Syrian commander, was told to dip seven times in the Jordan to be healed of leprosy. Washing in muddy water doesnโ€™t heal diseaseโ€”unless God has spoken.

God often invites us into partnership with Him. He could act alone, but He delights to involve us. The pattern is simple: you have a problem, He gives an instruction. When you follow it, heaven touches earth. Sometimes His instructions seem logical; other times they feel unusual. A church leader once heard God say to anoint her arthritic joints with lemon juice. It sounded strange, but she obeyedโ€”and woke up healed.

The miracle is never in the action itself; itโ€™s in the God who speaks. The question is not, โ€œDoes this make sense?โ€ but โ€œDid God say this?โ€ The more we learn to hear His voice and obey promptly, the more we will see His power released.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to hear Your voice and obey quickly. Let my obedience be the bridge for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I declare that obedience opens the door to Godโ€™s promises. โ€œIf you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the landโ€ (Isaiah 1:19). I will not resist His leading but follow Him wholeheartedly, confident that His plans are for my good and His glory.

I choose to walk in Godโ€™s ways, trusting that His commands lead to life and blessing. My heart delights to obey the Lord. โ€œTo obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of ramsโ€ (1 Samuel 15:22).

John tells of a Baptist minister in the 1980s. God told him to stand on his head right at the front of church in the service. God said , “Now”. He did as he was told and the Holy Spirit fell on them all.
