Jesus Is Everything You Need

Sometimes we simply need to stop and remind ourselves exactly who Jesus is.

Life has a way of making our problems look enormous. We can become consumed by what we are facing, what we don’t understand, what we can’t fix and what tomorrow might bring. But before you look again at the size of your problem, look again at the greatness of your Saviour.

Jesus Is…

Jesus is my Advisor, Advocate and Counsellor; He guides me into all truth [John 16:13; 1 John 2:1].

Jesus is my all in all and my Anchor; He keeps me secure when the storms of life are raging [Hebrews 6:19].

Jesus is my Answer, my Armour and my Atoning Sacrifice; in Him I have forgiveness, freedom and victory over the power of sin [Ephesians 6:11; 1 John 2:2].

Jesus is my Banner and my Baptiser in the Holy Spirit; His presence marks my life and His Spirit empowers me to be His witness [Exodus 17:15; Acts 1:8].

Jesus is my Coach and my Example; I fix my eyes on Him and run the race He has set before me [Hebrews 12:1–2].

Jesus is my Comforter and my Contentment; in His presence I find peace that circumstances cannot take away [John 14:27; Philippians 4:11–13].

Jesus is my Cornerstone and my Defence; my life is built securely on Him [Ephesians 2:20; 1 Peter 2:6].

Jesus is my Deliverer and my Divine Companion; He walks with me and leads me in the way I should go [Colossians 1:13; Matthew 28:20].

Jesus is my Encouragement and my Example; He strengthens me to keep moving forward and calls me to become more like Him [Hebrews 12:3; Romans 8:29].

Jesus is my First Love and my Fountain of Life; my soul finds its deepest satisfaction in Him [Revelation 2:4; John 4:14].

Jesus is my Guide; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake [Psalm 23:3].

Jesus is my Healer; by his stripes I am healed. [Isaiah 53:5].

Jesus is my Best Friend and my Intercessor; He knows me completely, loves me faithfully and prays for me [John 15:15; Romans 8:34].

Jesus is my Joy; in His presence there is fullness of joy [John 15:11; Psalm 16:11].

Jesus is my Lamp and my Leader; His Word illuminates my path and His voice directs my steps [Psalm 119:105; John 10:27].

Jesus is my Lifelong Companion; He has promised never to leave me or forsake me [Hebrews 13:5].

Jesus is my Mediator; through Him I have access to the Father [1 Timothy 2:5].

Jesus is my Mentor and Master; He corrects me, teaches me and leads me into the fullness of life [Matthew 11:29; John 10:10].

Jesus is my Message and my Messiah; He is the good news, the promised Saviour and the hope of the world [Luke 2:11; John 4:25–26].

Jesus is my Motivator; His love compels me to live for Him and His kingdom [2 Corinthians 5:14–15].

Jesus is my Nourishment; He is the Bread of Life, and in Him my soul is satisfied [John 6:35].

Jesus is my Overcoming Power; through Him I can overcome the world [1 John 5:4–5].

Jesus is my Peace; He has made peace between me and God, and His peace guards my heart and mind [Ephesians 2:14; Philippians 4:7].

Jesus is my Potter and Shaper; I surrender my life to His hands and allow Him to transform me [Isaiah 64:8; Romans 12:2].

Jesus is my Priest; He offered Himself once for all and continually intercedes for me [Hebrews 7:25–27].

Jesus is my Provider; my God supplies all that I need according to His riches in Christ [Philippians 4:19].

Jesus is my Purifier; He cleanses me from sin and makes me new [1 John 1:7, 9; 2 Corinthians 5:17].

Jesus is my Redeemer; He purchased my freedom and reminds me that I am saved by grace [Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8].

Jesus is my Reconciler; through Him I have peace with God and have been brought near to the Father [Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:13].

Jesus is my Refresher and Refuge; when I am weary, I run to Him and find rest for my soul [Matthew 11:28–29; Psalm 46:1].

Jesus is my Resurrection and my Life; because He lives, my hope is alive and my future is secure [John 11:25; 1 Peter 1:3].

Jesus is my Reward and my Righteousness; I don’t have to earn God’s acceptance because my righteousness is found in Christ [Philippians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:21].

Jesus is my Risen Saviour; death could not hold Him, and His resurrection is the foundation of my faith [1 Corinthians 15:3–4, 20].

Jesus is my Shield against the attacks of the enemy; I stand firm in the faith He has given me [Ephesians 6:16].

Jesus is my Standard of Truth; His words are true, trustworthy and without deceit [John 14:6; John 17:17].

Jesus is my Strength when I am weak; His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness [2 Corinthians 12:9].

Jesus is my Sufficiency and Supplier; everything I need for life and godliness is found in Him [2 Peter 1:3].

Jesus is my Support and Helper; therefore I will not be afraid [Hebrews 13:6].

Jesus is my Sure Foundation; when everything else shakes, my life is secure in Him [Matthew 7:24–25; 1 Corinthians 3:11].

Jesus is my Teacher; I sit at His feet and learn His ways [Matthew 11:29].

Jesus is the One who carries me through the rough places; when I am weary, I trust His strength rather than my own [Isaiah 40:31].

Jesus is my Truth and my Trusted Friend; I can build my life upon His words and trust His heart completely [John 14:6; John 15:15].

Jesus is my Vindicator; I don’t have to defend myself before everyone because I can entrust myself to the One who judges justly [1 Peter 2:23].

Jesus is my Victory; I am more than a conqueror through the One who loves me [Romans 8:37].

Jesus is my Way to Overcome; I don’t overcome through my own strength, but through faith in Him [1 John 5:4].

Jesus is my Wisdom; in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge [Colossians 2:3].

Jesus is everything our hearts crave for, the Living, Breathing Word and the solution to every single one of our problems.

Whatever you’re facing today, remember who Jesus is. You may not have every answer, but you know the One who does. You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know the One who holds tomorrow.

Fix your eyes on Jesus. Trust Him. Worship Him. Call on His name.
