Tend The Altar Until Fire Falls!

Tend The Altar Until Fire Falls!

Dionne White recently prophesied…

We Must Rebuild the Altars

Recently in a time of intercession, I began to see an image. As I looked in the spirit, I could see people carrying wood in their arms and walking towards a place in the dirt to build a fire. As they continued bringing materials to this place which was known as “the altar,” they were expecting the fire to be lit, but it never was. They kept working and walking back and forth, but never stayed, waited, or experienced the fire.

As I watched, I heard, “Many are crying out for God to revive the fire within them, but they must build the altars again. For they have been broken down, and many are in disrepair. I see the desire of the hearts of the people and hear their cries for revival, but the altars must be built, repaired, and attended to—waiting upon Me. For it is in this place you will be revived.”

Present Yourselves as Living Sacrifices

The Lord said, “Bring your wood, bring your stones, bring your water; but most of all, bring the sacrifice of yourselves. Present unto Me yourselves as living sacrifices once again, and watch Me bring fire upon what you have prepared and presented.

“I will light the fire again,” says the Lord, “as I did in the days of Elijah, when he prepared the altar. He brought the sacrifice and praise of who I am—waiting for Me to answer by fire. I answered by fire, and I will do it again.

“I am waiting to visit you with fire. Present yourselves as living sacrifices upon the altars of worship once again, and I will answer you.

“Build and repair the altars. I will answer by fire. Watch and see what I will do. Approach the place of the altar again. I am waiting.”

“Therefore, I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.” (Romans 12:1 NASB1995)

Baptized with Fire

God is desiring to meet us in that place of intimacy and exchange of power at the altar. We can do nothing apart from Him. The Holy Spirit is eager to baptize people for the first time and to baptize afresh those whose fire has grown cold.

Ask the Lord, “What does it look like for me to repair or build the altar again? Where or how have I neglected the altar of worship and sacrifice in my life?” Ask God to baptize you with His fire and for a fresh infilling.

Respond in faith to what He says or shows you. He is looking for a rekindled relationship and communion with His people. He is jealous for you, your time, and your worship
