Nate Johnston recently prophesied…

This word is very specific, but I believe it is for many people right now.

In this transition, the Holy Spirit has us deeply focused on healing. After the road we’ve walked, which is one we’ve barely survived, people are in desperate need of it.

It has been a season of deepest heart surgery and healing from past seasons. And God is washing our feet and taking us out of those seasons of difficult situations and circumstances, both relationally and demonically, that has left many people feeling rattled, scattered, and kind of shell-shocked.

You’ve been through such a brutal season of painful betrayal where it felt like a coordinated attack of witchcraft, and discouragement bombs that came against you. The fallout and collateral damage is that it led you to Ishmaels and problems you can’t seem to escape and are still cleaning up to this day.

Essentially, you were baited, and the enemy led you into many traps that YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO MOVE ON FROM…

What I kept seeing this morning was a vision of people sitting in front of a TV, and they were watching scene after scene after scene of all these situations they had walked through– all of the problems that they had encountered through people, situations, and circumstances. It’s like they were watching a loop of all of their failures and painful moments that feel like they never quite got over or healed from.

But I hear the Lord saying, “The problem is that that the enemy has you rehearsing WHAT HE DID TO YOU through people, then is making you own it, and IT’S MAKING YOU SICK!”

The enemy is constantly pressing those buttons and triggering you so that you are tempted to turn on that TV.

Sometimes those triggers are when some of those people you still have open doors to are texting you and messaging you.

Or people around you wanting to gossip and talk about the things you’ve walked through.

Or you have those wounded, co-dependent relationships where all you do is talk about those people that hurt you, which in a lot of ways is essentially creating even more warfare around you because you’re stirring it up.

But I hear the Lord saying, “It’s time to give those seasons to Me, and you have to stop rehearsing what you’ve walked through. You have to stop rehearsing the pain. You have to stop rehearsing where you felt stupid. Where you were tricked. Where you were baited into those traps, or led blind into those situations that created all these issues.”

I know that there are still reminders around you daily with the problems you’re still cleaning up because of what you’ve walked through and the decisions you made and from what you listened to.

But the Lord is saying, “Let me clean up those messes. Let me show you that I Am faithful. But what you need to do is get your eyes off of man, and back on Me.”

I had a powerful dream just last week where the Lord was showing me this very thing. There were people coming up to me, rehearsing and sharing their problems. They were all legitimate things. But then the voice of the Lord said, “Their eyes are on man and not on Me.”

And I knew that this was not just about the people in the dream. This is something the enemy is trying to get us to do right now. He’s trying to get our eyes on people instead of seeing who the really enemy is, and who Jesus really is– the Author and Finisher of our faith, the only One who can lead us forward.

Are you looking back like Lot’s wife? Ouch… LET IT GO.

So if this is you right now and you’re wondering, ‘Why am I still in this mess? Why am I still dealing with this? Why am I still feeling defeated?’ It’s because you’ve got the TV on and you’re rehearsing it over and over and over again.

The Lord says, “Turn the TV off. It’s time to get your eyes back on Me. Time to readjust with the Word. It’s time to be reminded of who I have said you are and the promises I have spoken over your life.”

I prophesy right now in the Name of Jesus that you’re going to hear the voice of the Lord clearer than you have. You’re going to have dreams clearer than you’ve ever had in your life. You’re going to step into a place of encouragement and vision for your life that you haven’t felt in years. God is breaking that demonic agenda and tv show on repeat in your head and the lying spirit in your ear, and you will be healed and set free of the past finally so you can step into your new season, in Jesus Name.

Pray this with me:

“Lord, my eyes are coming back on You now and I forgive myself, my betrayers, and I choose to let it go now, in Jesus Name. Wash my heart, wash my feet, and make me whole and brand new, in Jesus name!”

Turn off the TV– their words, what they did, and fix your gaze on Jesus again.
