No Flesh May Glory

“That no flesh may glory in His presence” 1 Corinthian 1:29
God never has any intention of letting anyone of us stand in His presence, now or at the end of the Age, and say “Look how awesome I was – Look what I did for you! I’m the Man!”
So let’s stop trying.
1 Corinthians 1 say He chooses the weak, the foolish, the are-nots, the have-nots and the fail-lots! Why? So that he can express the riches of His amazing grace and kindness, making gold out of the earth of our lives. And at the end of it all, creation will cry out “God did it!” He did what He said He’d do, and every ounce of glory goes to Him.
So take the focus off you, and get it all on Him. Forget yourself – the good, the bad, the ugly. Your perceived righteousness or self-righteousness. Just focus on Him, His goodness, His purpose, His greatness – and what flows from your life will astound you and give praise to God!
