Choose Peace

It’s so easy to lose our peace—especially in uncertain times like these. But peace isn’t just something that happens to us. Peace is a choice—one we’re invited to make daily.

So how do we choose peace?

Everywhere you look, there are apps and tools promising calm—tranquil images, soothing music, meditative voices, all which are designed to bring a level of peace to the recipient. While these can offer temporary relief, true, lasting peace can only come from the Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 26:3 reminds us of this promise:

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

Peace comes when we focus our hearts and minds on the One who is peace Himself.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 (TPT) declares:

“Now, may the Lord himself, the Lord of peace, pour into you His peace in every circumstance and in every possible way. The Lord’s tangible presence be with you all.

Philippians 4:6–7 (TPT) says:

“Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.”

In other words, peace doesn’t come from ignoring reality. It comes from inviting God into your reality.

What you focus on grows.

If you feed your thoughts with fear, anxiety, and negativity—those things will flourish.
But if you fix your eyes on Jesus, the Prince of Peace, He will settle your heart and calm your mind.

So today, make the choice. Turn down the noise. Lift your eyes.
Magnify Him—and let Him pour His peace into you.

Today, I declare that my mind is stayed on the Lord, and He keeps me in perfect peace. I refuse to be anxious, fearful and distraction, but I set my heart on trusting in Him. In everything, I bring my needs before God with thanksgiving, knowing He hears and cares.

His peace is stronger than my worry and anxiety.
I will not be shaken. I will not be moved.
I am anchored in His presence and kept by His peace.
