A Shift Is Coming

Craig Cooney recently prophesied…

IT’S BEEN SLOW…BUT A SHIFT IS COMING.

​Recently, I had a vision of large, interlocking, mechanical gears – like you might see on an old steam train or piece of machinery. The gears were rusted and stuck. It looked like they hadn’t moved in some time.
Then I heard a loud noise. The gears were beginning to grind together. It seemed like they were locked. Jammed. Static. There was a strain. A tension. A friction. But very slowly, they started to turn.

At the beginning, it was very difficult to see any significant change. The movement was almost imperceptible. However, after a few minutes, they began to move more freely and quickly gained momentum. Before long, there was an ease and speed to their movement.

I believe this is a picture of life for many people.

You have been feeling stuck for a long time. You’ve struggled to see any movement or momentum. You’re going through the motions. Doing what you know to do.

There’s activity, but no advancement. There’s busyness, but no progression. Your energy and motivation for life, work, relationships, and ministry have flatlined. Even your walk with God has felt bland, blah, and boring. You’ve struggled to find any direction or clarity. It’s been unusually difficult to hear God‘s voice.

You love Him. Deep down, you know He’s with you. But life has been a struggle. Everything has felt harder than normal. It’s been this way for much too long. You’ve become weary and frustrated. You’ve lost some of your passion and fire. And, at times, you’re not sure if you’re ever going to get it back.

​I want to tell you: it’s slow, but the shift is coming!

It’s already started. Little signs are there before you like green shoots emerging through barren soil. I know it’s hard to see them through the lens of persistent disappointment and delay. You don’t want more false hope. You need something to change!

​Change is at hand.

It will be almost unnoticeable at the beginning. But over the next 3-4 months you will gradually experience an increase in God’s manifest presence, prophetic words, dreams, visions, and Divine direction. Things will begin to look different. You will start to feel different. There will be movement and momentum.

By springtime, you will begin to walk in a time of acceleration. Things will change, progress, and advance very quickly. There will be a fresh sense of freedom. A renewed joy, hope, and vision. Of course, there will be resistance and warfare. But you will be so focused on what God is doing that the enemy’s schemes will feel almost inconsequential.

Like a train conductor, I hear the Lord declaring with a loud voice: “All change!”

I see new assignments, relocation, repositioning, and realignment. This will all be accompanied by increasing disruption in many places. Shaking and turbulence will intensify. There will be a redrawing of borders and boundaries. But amidst the unsettling and upheaval, a fresh wind of the Spirit will blow upon the people of God.

We’re entering a time of refreshing and restoration. Awakening is stirring. The sound of salvation will be heard across the nations.

​Don’t lose heart now. You have remained faithful in the waiting of the wilderness season. And you will be rewarded for that faithfulness. You haven’t given up. And so you will reap a harvest. You have kept your heart pure. And you will see God move.

The long winter is almost over.
The barrenness is breaking.
The heaviness is lifting.
Things are turning.
