The Shifting Of Seasons

Candace Roberts recently prophesied…

Can you feel the shifting of the season? The other day I walked outside, and I could feel fall in the air. I took a deep breath of the cool, crisp fall air, and it seemed to permeate deep within. As I exhaled, I felt a shift and a weight lift.

When you are in seasons of grief so heavy that your breath is literally taken away, a deep breath is a sign in and of itself that something has shifted. It is felt in your heart and soul and brings evidence of the hope that a shifting of the seasons is not only on the horizon but actually here.

To the prophet, the surrendered one, the willing one, the one who has suffered well through long seasons of constant change, testing and grief, everything holds meaning greater than what is seen in the natural. I sensed that this shift wasn’t just about a reprieve from the heat, or noticing the beauty I was beginning to see in the natural all around. I began to hear the Lord speak to those who have endured well through the long wilderness seasons of testing, pruning and grieving.

I began to see the hearts of those who have lost so much more than what is seen on the surface. Lifetimes, years, moments and memories were laid before me. I saw the aching and grieving of those who have been laid bare and given everything, those who have chosen to hold onto nothing.

I saw your weary and tired hearts trying to hold onto the promises, but it had been so long. You’ve endured so much trauma that you have begun to feel like a shell of your former selves. Like a soldier who has returned from battle still on edge, you constantly feel under attack. You have been in survival mode for so long, waiting for the rug to be pulled out from underneath you. This has become your norm.

The Lord Is Speaking Over You Now
But the Lord is speaking over you now: Your season is shifting! In the days ahead, you will begin to see the terrain around you shift and change. Where grief once stole your breath, a deep breath of fresh air will fill every part of your being. Memories and moments that were stolen by trauma are being restored unto you. Because you were willing to endure the season and not bypass the process, you will now bear the fruit. I know the season has felt long, and at times meaningless (for no other reason but to suffer), but that is a lie. The beauty that was forged in you—the strength, destiny and anointing—are about to come to FULL BLOOM!

Your season has felt barren, and you have been waiting for things around you to shift, but you are coming into the fullness of the revelation that YOU have been the gift and promise all along. He promised to make everything beautiful, and although you feel broken and battered, your true beauty that could only come through the fire is about to shine like never before.

No longer will you look over your shoulder. No longer will you allow the attack and words of those who do not know who and Whose you are to affect you. A new authority is coming upon you, and you will take ground everywhere your feet step. Every place in the natural that has been touched by loss and devastation will experience the restoration and recompense of the Lord. Your land, houses, finances, family, ministries, children and every promise that has yet to come to fruition will shift in this season.

Even when you don’t see the fullness, you will be filled with a joy and peace you have not felt in years. You will be full of promise and not pain. Anxiety and fear are losing their grip on you, and you will no longer be held by the effects of trauma! You are not a sum of what has happened to you; you are evidence of what He has done in you!

You may have heard it before, but let there be no mistake, your season is shifting. You have shifted! Can you feel it? Can you discern it? Will you be brave enough to believe for it?
