Revival Homes!
Candace Roberts recently prophesied…
The Lord says, “I will give you houses you did not build and vineyards you did not plant.”
“The Lord your God will soon bring you into the land He swore to give you when He made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant.” (Deuteronomy 6:10–11 NLT)
Ever since I was child, I dreamed of having a beautiful home to call my own. However, the wilderness season of the past few years has made that dream look like an impossibility…
I have surrendered my heart to the Lord over this topic time and time again, so much so that I committed to being thankful right where I am. I decided to stop talking or dreaming about what could be and just live happily with our four children in our tiny home.
Then, the Lord began to speak to me about the season we are in. He began to show me a season of unprecedented favor unlike any we have ever seen before. He firmly set in my heart that He indeed would give us houses we didn’t build by our own hands but rather by our obedience and surrender.
He showed me vineyards we did not plant, but they were watered by the tears of faithful servants who surrendered to the purging. The riches that are about to be poured out are not for the ones who held on and worked hard; they are for the ones who were willing to let go and let God.
I feel Him saying that what He began to build in the stillness of your pain and surrender will be greater than anything man can even fathom. This isn’t a feel-good word promising everyone the house of their dreams. No, these homes were made for a specific purpose. These homes are being built for the purpose of restoration, revival, and refuge.
Restoration
Many of us have experienced great pain that touched not only ourselves but our children and extended families during our wilderness season. Even in the aftermath, complete restoration has seemed at an arm’s distance. I see homes where families can spread out in comfort, where mothers have everything they need to go about their day in ease. I see big yards full of smiling, laughing children, and ponds with fathers and sons fishing. I see huge tables with extended family gathered around at holidays being restored.
These homes are to house the faithful ones. They are to be dwelling places where they can expand their families and enjoy the fruit of their obedience. They are not for show, but a place to house joy that will spill beyond the four walls.
Revival
The coming revival will be centered around true community. People will pray, worship, and break bread together daily. I see these chosen, faithful ones being given homes that will house revival. It will be a lifestyle of daily communing. There will be large living rooms filled with people worshiping while children play. I see kitchens able to cook and feed all who are hungry. They will be known as revival homes, and they will seldom be empty.
Refuge
As revival happens, these homes will become a place of refuge for those who have no home. Their doors will be open often and be a safe place for those seeking refuge. Love will be the heartbeat of these homes, and they will provide healing to those in need.
This is not about earthly possessions. It is about the expansion of the Kingdom and taking back the territory that is rightfully His. In this season of great favor, it will be a literal manifestation of His glorious wonder-working power on the earth. Only those with bold enough faith will be able to possess what He is pouring out.
He Is the God of the Impossible!
We must be careful to look beyond our natural vision and understand that God can do the impossible. We must not be limited by our own false humility or feelings of not being deserving. This is not about us. It is about Him and bringing forth what He has set out to accomplish on this earth. It is about a dream held in His heart since the beginning of time.
We are entering a magnificent new era, unlike any we’ve experienced. It will require bold faith like never before. But now is the time when He will show up and show out for the faithful ones who have surrendered all. What He is about to do for us will cause the world to take notice, for there will be no doubt that it was our God who did for us what we could not do for ourselves.
“I gave you land you had not worked on, and I gave you towns you did not build—the towns where you are now living. I gave you vineyards and olive groves for food, though you did not plant them.” (Joshua 24:13 NLT
