I Will Make the Rough Places Smooth

“I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them” Isaiah 42:16

Sometimes I forget that God is not just a comforter, a source of truth or a relief from fear or guilt – God is a DOER.

“These are the things I WILL DO” he says in this wonderful promise.

Got problems? Situations that need to shift? Bills, relationships, sickness, threats, job losses or organisational difficulty? The Good News is – GOD IS A DOER! True, sometimes he does talk you through it – but sometimes He actually does it all for you!

Lay your problems all before Him, pour it out, casting all your cares on Him, and you’re going to find He’ll care for you! He’ll “Make rough places smooth. Turn darkness into light”. Things actually change when we get God involved.

Money arrives in the post; sickness and pain leaves by the morning; threatening people leave; bad attitudes vanish; we get promoted instead of fired; electrical items get fixed! He does stuff!

Let Him make some incredible changes to your life, by calling Him into your situation. Let Him DO something wonderful!
